Who is IOSH Training for?

IOSH Training is aimed at any level of staff working in any industry sector.

If you are looking for a general health and safety course the IOSH Working Safely is a 1-day course giving a good grounding in health and safety. Some staff will use this course as a health and safety induction. If you have a group of delegates you can book the trainer out for the day or you can send delegates on a public course. It focuses on why health and safety is important, and how you can make a real difference to the wellbeing of yourself and others through changing your behaviour (IOSH website).

Working Safely Course Content

The IOSH Working Safely course covers 5 modules;

1. Introducing working safely
2. Defining hazard and risk
3. Identifying common hazards
4. Improving safety performance
5. Protecting our environment

If you are a manager looking for health and safety training and need to know what you are responsible, how to manage safer then the IOSH Managing Safely is the course which you need, any this course is for any sector as well. On this course, you will learn exactly what you need to know to manage safely in an easy to learn interactive format.

You won’t leave the course as a health and safety expert but it will give your staff the knowledge and tools to tackle the health and safety issues which they are responsible for as part of their management role. This course will bring home why health and safety is important in your organisation. At the end of this course, delegates will have to complete 22 multiple choice questions and then complete a risk assessment based project.

The IOSH Managing Safely course covers 8 modules;

1. Introducing managing safely
2. Assessing risks
3. Controlling risks
4. Understanding your responsibilities
5. Identifying hazards
6. Investigating accidents and incidents
7. Measuring performance
8. Protecting our environment

If you have a group of delegates for the managing safely you can call us for a quote. It might be more cost effective than you think to book a private course if you have more than a couple of delegates it could work out better for your organisation.
